When the copier machine for CanonIRC5030 (IRC5035/IRC5045/IRC5051 NPG45/NPG46) points out the ending of the life yield of Drum unit, a new PCU or a remanufactured PCU will replace the old PCU. When wereplace the PCU, we have to notice some points. Otherwise, some error code will appears in the machine or it’ll be abnormal for the machine when setting up.
First, when we enter the developerunits,
the waster toner bottle must be taken down. Otherwise, the card
position of the waster toner bottle will make the developer units in a
higher position and then make the developer units installed in an
abnormal position, which will then make the developer units match the Drum unit abnormally and at last make them hard to work normally.
Second, generally, the cable of the TD sensor will be unplugged when we replace the developer units. Kindly note that anotherplug of the socket is easy to be loose when we unplug the cable. If anotherplug of the socket is loose, an error code named E012-0X03 will appear when wereplace the developer unit. At this time, we only need to make both of two plugs of the socket connect the power, the machine will operate normally.
Third, the metal of the bottom of the PCU is easy to be deformed unconsciously under pressure when the PCU is installed into the machine, which will make the metal not touch the PCU normally and will at last lead to the black background or smudgy marks when printing. At this time, the metal elasticity of the bottom of the PCU should be checked and we should make sure that the metal from the bottom of the PCU touch the PCU normally.
Forth, for NPG45 and NPC46 drum unit, remanufactured factory will produce them be the general models under normal circumstances. Butthere are problems which we should pay attention to. For example, The Black NPG46 PCU can’t be used in the position of the black NPG45 PCU. Because the reare difference between the printing speed of two models, and what’s more, the reare differences between the parameters of the PCR of two models. These differences will probably cause some quality problem, such as the black background.
