Unexpectedly, they found  that  up  to    40,000 copies of information retained in the hard drive of copier machine.
   Most copier machines are equipped with  a hard drive  so that images  of every scanned,   faxed and printed document are stored. Generally those images won’t disappear until  the  disk fills and the oldest data is overwritten if the file is unencrypted.
  The function of storing information for the hard drive means that the company confidential documents, such as personal salary records you copied at the office last year , important   contracts, major decisions etc. may still be there. 
  Some copiers have privacy and security software available, which can overwrite  images   so that they don't remain on the hard drive after finishing the print jobs.  The Error Code for Ricoh SP C720Hotsun Imaging Products Co., Ltd. is so pleased to find that the printer can identify the chip and page yield properly by the self-testing after being replaced by another chip, when testing the toner cartridge of Ricoh SP C720. When the sign of “ READY” displayed in the machine, the error code of SC681-X appeared immediately. The problem could not be solved by both a reset of the drum assembly and thermal transfer assembly. To have a further reset of fuser assembly, the problem still remained. At last, the problem was solved completely after changing another chip from another supplier’s. In a word, the error code for Ricoh SP C720 results from the chip.
